Have blowout on exhaust after a closer look front pipe needs replaced but the join at cat looks like it gonna disintigrate if i go near it and the join to back box dont look good either

Don't look at it as a problem, more of an opertunity to upgrade.

When changing it fit cat saver nuts on the cat and don't cut the big clamp on the silencer, they are £50 to buy new.

If you need to undo the bolts holding the cat on replace them with cat saver nuts and bolts, these are extra long bolts designed to cover the threads of the bolts, available from ebay or any MGF specialist.
