Hi guys i trust everyone had a good christmas & new year.
In the beginning of december i got myself a new battery & also replaced the earth strap from said battery to the inner wing car started fine (forgot to say cars not used & hasn't been since summer)been out to it a few days ago again no probs starting but noticed that by battery light is staying on & also when i lock it & put the alarm on 10 mins later the alarm went off so switched it off & on again 10mins later it happened again any idea's???

Maybe alternator ? Had this on my old mini biughta new battery then it died after 3 month. Garage tested it and was fine then put a multimeter on my alternator ands it wasn't charging proper.

Swapped for a new one and all was well .

Get your alternator checked out would be my suggestion.
