A question for all you electricians out there
)
I am looking at getting a piggyback fuse to power a hidden sub (pulls 7.5 amps, but has a 10 amp fuse). From my understanding my TF fuse box has a 30 amp supply to it (I am sure I didn't just dream this, but maybe I am wrong about this, seems like a lot less than the fuses would suggest). Fuse 15, the one for the radio and oil temp gauge has a 10 amp fuse. Whilst technically I put a piggyback fuse with an additional 10 amp fuse for the sub and run the two in parallel, would this be unadvisable (I wouldn't want to set the car on fire for example
)?
