Hood down mishaps .... 10 years 11 months ago #118412

So, mesh windstops and hailstones .. not good.

Not good to the point that it felt like someone was behind me firing gravel beads from a tennis racquet at the back of my head.

I had to endure 4 or 5 miles of pea sized hail falling in terrific volumes as I drove into it a 70mph...

Not good.

... and I wasn't impressed at having to shovel them out of the footwell before playing football either.

Note to self; next time I'm hooning along hood down in hail, I'll make a point of dropping the windstop or raising the hood.
