Dodgy Fuel Gauge 11 years 4 days ago #117969

As the title suggests :bang:

Since I have got the car back on the road after its "little incident", the fuel gauge has become stuck in the 3/4 tank position.
I did think it could have been to do with it ending up in a rather undignified arse in ditch front end in air position? Then being stood for a couple of weeks while work was done on it.
Is it normally one specific item that will need replacing on these or is it a case of dismantle and check the whole fuel sender mechanism in rear?

Regards Clarky
