Big Thank You to Daryl @ MGFReborn! 11 years 1 week ago #117473

My Alternator bottom bolt had sheared off. I was a bit stumped on the best way to proceed. Called Daryl for some advice, he said no problem pop the car round and I will get it out.

Popped over yesterday morning and he got a bolt welded onto the broken bolt so we could get the pesky bugger out. He then proceeded to refit my alternator! I then asked if he wanted anything for it, he just said buy me a beer!

Top bloke!

Yep agree. Daz is in business to make money. He's a businessman.
Any of us ordinary owners would have helped out like he did, for a beer. Or for nowt.

I think it proves that he is both: businessman and helpful enthusiast.
So... Nice one. You could have charged but didn't.

Top bloke IMO. :broon:
And I don't bestow blessings lightly. :yesnod:

im also a mgf owner myself .and little jobs like that on a saturday all always happy to do what i can.I often met a number of my customers on mg runs etc.
I started this company as a hobby.I owned two restored bmws.moved down to dorset to retire and look after my then 7 year old son.bought the house to have the cars under cover.sold the cars, bought a mgf to do up.and then other people started popping round the rest is history.
I enjoy the mets and the events as much as any mg owner. So any one on tbar is always welcome to pop round for a chat,a bit of help and its always a good to see you
