No more headaches..... 11 years 1 month ago #114574

Found having the heavy spoiler a pain in the head! Every time I opened the boot to put something in or take something out the weight of the spoiler would cause the lid to come down, had a few close misses to being knocked out  ..... so decided this had to be done.. What do you think?

Will find link and post soon :bust:

I'm trying to post a video of the boot opening but it's not working? What am I doing wrong? Tried via photo bucket and add file but no luck... I have posted videos before no problem?

Nah, it's not double seam welded, triple powder coated or fitted with NASA grade Saturn 5 surplus rose joints. Neither is it secured in place with rhodium plated boron- inerted platinum bolts, sourced from Patagonia and washed clean with the tears of virgins. Not even torqued up by the Pope. So....not to DD spec. :nonod:

All that considered, a very neat job.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Hi Neil. The studs come with struts ;) I can't find the link to the ones I brought as it quite a while ago but if you do a search on eBay you will find loads... I have asked Dieseldestroyer if he remembers the link as he brought the same one for his boot last year so will get back to you on that one :broon:

A trans-uranic heavy element? Frankly, I'm disappointed.
Too heavy. :yesnod:
