O,k some might of read that I need a new water pump for the TF, I have just been on the phone to a parts centre and the guy told me there a few options for the TF apparently 2 different sizes of water pump and the option of manual or automatic tensioner for the cambelt, How do I know what I need to order, I have go a mechanic to come and fit it all this friday.

Speak nicely to them and get both with the understanding the other can be returned ? or see if you can get the right part no from rimmerbros

I bought the uprated water pump from Elise parts.. And it fitted my TF 160

Dr Watson bought the same water pump and it fitted his 1.6 F too

I believe Hellier only fits the manual tensioner as the auto ones can fail... But could be wrong though

I got a new one from ebay. I didnt notice at the time, but it had a slightly different housing (external) and thus I couldnt fit the evaporator bolt..... No big deal though :) works just the same.

just been quoted 79.84 all in for cambelt and auto tensioner /waterpump and alternator belt, with £140 fitting ..
