Like his style... My grandad bless him had a big list of things he wanted me to have but the evil end of the family cleared everything out. I only really wanted his RAF stuff. If the MGF is still alive by that time it will have gone up a bit more in value.

Our 14yo grand-daughter asked if I'd give her driving lessons in Grandmas MG when she turns 17. When I diplomatically declined, she declared 'well, it'll have to be your Jaguar then, Grandad...'

Two hopes there: Bob Hope and No Hope.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I recall the story of my brother asking if he could haveour grandfather's wheelbarrow as he'd taken a shine to it after a day of collecting leaves... "Aye lad, when I kick the bucket" came the reply...mmm I'm not sure he was banking on said grandson running up to him 2 minutes later with a bucket, shouting "Kick it Granda, kick it !!! " :P


This girl doesn't mind getting her hands dirty !!! :lol:
