PMR radios for runs 11 years 7 months ago #71363

I run an annual outdoor event and we have a couple of dozen of the 950's and they have been very good for us.

Plus I've used them car to car but it can be a bit difficult with the top down

We have been using the Binatone 950s for a while now and have 3 of these. I would have been happy sticking to the 950s, but they are discontinued and have been superseded by the 1000s, which we have just bought 4 of.

The cheaper ones just don't really cut it when driving in a hilly area. Sometimes the 950/1000s struggle, but on the main they are good.

I don't think you will get a better PMR working within the legal frequencies and power.

Just got sick of radios rattling around the car/house and having to search for the chargers.
