I've given this a thread of its own as it is an important subject

iClive any advice you can give us on which Radios to buy would be great ..

Andy Watson, Alanrt54 and I have been talking about this, and getting lots of different view points :-?

I would imagine that you have tried most of them and know which ones now work the best, so we will take your lead and advice :broon:

Invalid or non-existent item ID.Invalid or non-existent item ID.Invalid or non-existent item ID.Most of us started out with this type
or this type

The problem is that in the environment of speaking car to car in a moving convoy, useful range can be down to a couple of hundred yards at most.

The majority now use this type

They will usually give you half a mile to a mile in the same environment.

If anyone wants a set of the first type I have a set(x2)in orange for sale £10

I bought two makes of PMR many years ago for a contract I had on a Holiday Park, worked really well, both out on site & in the club house.

Since our Son now has an 'F' and joins us on Runs etc, we always carry one each.

The one's I have are two iComs & two Alanco's - range is pretty good on both.

To get the ebay widget to work, just use the individual ebay code within the ebay brackets. In this case the code was 271059285484

This tea towel is pretty good. Especially if one of the convoy needs 'Z'.

With the border patrols being at full steam ahead, I'm surprised there hasn't been an 'O'! :P

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..
