My TF has been rear ended at some point I might toy with the idea of reshelling the TF bits into another car, or might not bother, see this post:

David's correct, it's an easy job to remove them, give them a good clean up with hot water and re fit ..
If yours are showing no sign of wear, rips, rubber perishing then its more than likely a window adjustment, or a cloth stuck in when washing your car

And the little rubber plugs for the wing mirror screw holes - I bought some from eBay and they are too small :lol:
