Oh yeah. They were rough up, primed and painted weeks ago!

What glue did you use, Sam?

I have been on the lookout for the best glue/bonding agent for this sort of thing. I don't trust glues that much. They never seem to be as good as they claim.

I can't remember the exact name, but it was something like 'No More Nails'.

Not sure I would have used that as it is more a DIY product, but it should have stuck reasonably well.

I too now have step 1 complete. I used superglue to get a hold between the scoops and surrounds, then araldite to get a good bond.

I will be picking up some filler tomorrow to blend the scoops into the surround.

David - did you finish the inside of the scoops?

No, apart from a lick of paint, I've left the inside of the scoops, as is.

The scooped intakes are now finished, but I'm waiting for the adhesive, which I used to refit the mesh, to dry.
I'll put up some photos later. :yesnod:

Another view. I just have to paint the fixing lugs black, and then I'll fit them to the car.:snow:

Looking good David.

The bit I cant seem to get right, and that I am not happy with, is where the ends blend in to the surrounds.

I dont know how much to fill in.

Can you take a pic of that area for me please so I can see how you have tackled it.

Thanks
