Hi today I have bought an Xpower Sports exhaust for my MGTF and contacted my insurance company to advise them of the upgrade.

They have asked me if the exhaust will increase performance of the car and by how much, can anyone help me please?:confused:

Nothing noticeable from just fitting a different exhaust.

I would have thought that it would be no more than 5bhp, but even that is optimistic. Normally the supplier can tell you the figures.

Thanks, I contacted the MG club now that I am a member and spoke to their insurance company, they said no problem to having the exhaust and they are cheaper than Direct Line too.

When you fitting it?

All sorted now, I was really surprised when they asked me.
