You're probably going to have to settle for getting a black one and repainting it.

Try borowing a hardtop from someone near you to see if you get on with it before you buy one.
I hankered after a hardtop when I had my first TF but then one came with the 2nd TF I bought. It now just takes up garage space though as I enthusiatically fitted it the first winter I had it but removed it as soon as the weather improved and I havent bothered since. To be frank Ive only hung onto the thing because all Sunstorm spec TFs were sold with a hardtop so it stays with the car.
A hard top on an F or TF looks very good from the outside but on the inside it just converts a cool sportscar into a cramped 2 seater saloon which is rather less of a good thing. Its a pain finding someone to help remove it on a sunny winter's day so you miss out on the main benefit of having a convertible. Hard tops are probably of most use in a hot climate coupled with air con but my expereience in the UK would not lead me to reccommend buying one without trying it for a while first.

One has to consider our friends home, guided by the thumbnail.
I suspect we are looking not at the Eiffel Tower, but at Blackpool tower. When this is consider, it might be the weather off the Irish Sea that makes for the urgent request.
Considering that I can see the tower from my home, some thirty five miles away & consider that we get the second hand weather rejected by the Fylde coast, a car being used all year really would profit from a hardtop.
It blows horizontal of the sea!

There are always plenty on eBay, I often look to see if there’s a Trophy Blue one for sale. I bought a silver one for £26 and had an enjoyable 120 mile round trip over Dartmoor collecting it. There are always a couple of black and numerous silver ones on n there. My wife prefers the silver one than the nightfire red on our Sunstorm.
