Rear Window Zip Broken
Zip has broken. Started off with the teeth separating but the carrier/zip with handle broke off whilst I tried to reopen it.
The hood & window is in reasonable condition so I wondered what options there were? Ideally I would like to repair the existing zip, but I guess I need another carrier. I would consider another complete hood for the right price, I'm afraid I can't afford one from someone like MGF Mania though.
Anyone got any other thoughts?

I've just had my zip slider on the newly acquired TF break, it had completely jammed up solid, and it was getting dark; so I was rushing. I just tried to gently part the slider with a thin screwdriver and it snapped.
I actually thought I was going to have to replace the complete window, but I have managed to source a couple of sliders from MGf Mania and now awaiting their delivery. Hopefully it will be a cheap repair, but I will make sure that the zip gets at least an annual lubrication from now on.

Yep all done, slider plus spare were exact replacements from MGFMania; so cheap successful repair. Added lubricate zip to six monthly service to help stop it jamming.
