Time to cut my losses.
I've had the car for 15months, from 39k to 52k miles.
Its got a full service history. plus additional receipts.
Its just costing me too much money to keep running, and all i want to do is to enjoy it when its sunny!!
Current Condition:
Believed head gasket failure. Theres coolant loss on the floor, and car is running rough. OBDII is showing the fuel mixture in the exhaust manifold is =5, on a scale of 0 to 100. I dont know if thats lean or rich. didnt say.
Running rough, but is running.
I'm no longer prepared to pay to fix the car, to probably find out something else needs doing!
The tyres will need replacing in a 1,000 miles or so, and the battery needs changing (but is still holding charge).
Bodywork is sound. apart from a small dink in the boot which i inflcited when swapping badges.
New parts bought in the time iv had it included
- discs and pads all round
- cambelt
- fan belt
- 2x full service
- rear shocks replaced
- lamba sensors
modified parts fitted:
- ZandF ECU
- Piper exhaust Cam
- Eliseparts Lightweight flywheel
- Janspeed large bore manifold
- decat
- TTmk7 exhaust
- Carbon Fbre style cold air intake
- xpower lowering springs
- Mp3 / ipod radio
I also have all of the OE parts removed from the weight loss (such as spare wheel, OEM flywheel, sound deadening etc). Only thing I cannot provide is the OEM manifold as it perished. Cat and backbox I have.
these are all included in the price... assuming seller collects them with the car. (and therefore has room).
MOT until Feb 2014

If your within 20miles of Kent, I wouldnt hesitate to say it will get you home under its own steam.
If your over 20 miles, I would recommend a friend in another car to escort you and a few bottles of water for the coolant tank.
