Hi all
Just bought my MG6 2016 last week couple of problems first when it’s cold it sounds and vibrates like a tractor until it’s warm then its fine also the DAB radio keeps loosing signal can anyone help please are these common problems

Unfortunately there aren't many MG6 owners on the forum to help.

DAB signal can be patchy when driving.

Most OEM DAB radios come with rubbish antenne, when I fitted the excellent Kenwood DAB+ head unit to my MGF, I didn't bother with the toy stick on the window antenna that it came with, instead I fitted a 3db high gain antenna, to do this I drilled another antenna hole on the opposite side to the existing FM antenna (still in use for FM reception)
I get fantastic DAB reception, even well out of the DAB broadcast footprint.
If the reception was any better it'd suck the radio transmission towers off their foundations!
