Nice to be called a lad !
Retired - the MG was the only thing on my bucket list. I was nearly put off by reading forums and only seeing problems - but realised that there usually was a solution, also took my time to pick the right car (I hope !) Although a flat battery this week hasn't helped , probably a result of spending time to try and sort out the footwell lights, a long and incomplete saga.

it only seems long while you are doing it. the grace and satisfaction is standing back and seeing the jobs finished, I know, I have been there and back again, but with the help and advice off the lads on here I accomplished my goal and got mine through the M O T without any advisories, nice to know help is only a stream away. good luck and happy motoring.
