Hi Guys and Gals!

I'm a proud owner of a '02 MGTF 135 in Trophy Blue, it's my first foray into MG ownership (so be gentle!) as I've jumped ship from the VW crowd.

Always fiddled with Golfs and what-not but the TF just handles like I always wanted my VWs to handle. And there are way too many chavs in Golfs now, at 39 it's time to grow up and have a mid-life crisis!

I live in Blackpool but use the TF to commute to Lancaster daily and so far, so good ish... Got plenty to play with/fix.

Photos to follow! Some of them may even be arty! :P

Cheers! :broon:

Been mostly fixing stuff on it.

So far:
Changed the 6 spoke 15s with ditchfinders for 11 spoke 16s with Toyo Proxes - immensely better.
Service.
Change the rear exhaust hangers. Which was a snowballing nightmare.
Changed the heater cable (really all of that to get to one cable?)
Rezpac resistor change to fix fan speed 1 and 2.

Still to do:
fit AP calipers :)
change rear disks and pads (some Norbert has miss mounted the rear inner pads) :(
replace the hood tensioner cables. :)
fix the boot wiring - standard cable issue. :(
probable clutch change - that's the big ouch. :( :(

Was changing the hood cables easy??

Mine have snapped.

Edit: just read thread properly :slapme: interesting to know how you got on with that.
