Hello to all the forum, my name is Giancarlo but my friends call me nicely Perry, a modified version of Perricone , my last name.
I am 47 years old and are in possession of a mgf mk2 MY2001 since 2005.
The one I have is my second mgf , the first was demolished in 2009 due to an impact against a curb which bent the body.
From this car I have recoveredm any pieces including the engine that had changed the gasket from only 8000km.
The second is a mgf my1998 which, however , I have personally adapted and transplanted the engine of 2001, although managed by different electronics ( mems3 -> mems 1.9 ).
Currently I have modified the height mounting the lower pins;
spax adjustable shock absorbers;
16" wheels pro race 1.2;
avon zzr 195/50 r16 semi-slick;
steel brake lines;
ebc slotted and punched 240mm front discs;
independent hydragas;
servo brake modified;
CDA directly connected to the air intake left;
air scoop vent;
xenon light 5000k;
Atech race seat;
refresh all bushes of front and rear suspension;
steel exhaust manifolds and flexpipe;
steel decat and backlight box by powermotive...
I hope you did not forget anything important.
I recently got to try the thrill of the track and are oriented to set up my mgf for the track-day.
