They sound keen but the F and TF are like no other car I've tried bleeding in over 30 years.

Firstly, :welcome: aboard to the most friendly place to vent your frustrations - we've all been there / done that so can sympathize with what your going through.
:hgf:
Sounds like your going through the mill with the issues your having - keep calm and positive - it'll all be worth it on the day you finally have a sorted car.

You'll look back at these posts and wonder what all the fuss was about. :yesnod:

We all feel your pain but as soon as you put the key in, drop the roof when you collect and drive about 4 feet, youll have forgotten all about the last 3 weeks and itll all be about the then and now of enjoying your topless drive.
My car was in the garage for over 50% of the first 3 months I had it, and then more time after that. i get thoroughly pissed off when she breaks but she's forgiven extremely quickly.
One thing I might recommend (a couple of us have it) is the AA Breakdown Repair cover. If youre not good with tools or simply will be relying on a garage to fix issues in a breakdown situation, you pay about £100 and that covers you for up to £500, five times a year, for £35 each time.
Breakdown, call AA, go to garage (not Halfords), they fix it (even clutch and HG are covered) and then they will either claim direct or you pay and then get the money back from the AA.
I know its saved my ass a few times in the 18 months and has saved me about £1000 already :)
