Mornin'

Just joined the forum on the recommendation of a very good mate of mine, Larry in St Albans.

Used to have an MGF years ago, when they first came out, initially joint owned with Chris Falla in Bournemouth, then all mine for a few months.

Recently sold my Porker 911 to release some cash for my Missus to buy a horse lorry, and I'm now on the lookout for a TF 160, have approx. £5K to spend, might end up going to see Daryl at MGF Reborn.

Anyway, just thought it polite to say "hello"

Darrell, nice to see you and hope your search for a 160 goes well. With that sort of budget you should have no problem finding a good one as long as you are prepared to travel.

Howdy, they are a good choice - a lot of fun for not much money

Just spoken with Daryl at MGF Reborn, will be popping over to see him tonight, and probably place an order ! After chatting with him, and also looking through some old pics of my F, I've decided to abandon the TF and go with a Mk2 MGF, but with a few upgrades, brakes, wheels, tuning etc... I'll keep you posted
