Long time owner, first time member... 11 years 10 months ago #53908

Hi all,
Only recently discovered this forum, although have had MGs for quite some time. Nominally from Auckland, now living in Munich for a couple of years, between us the wife and I have a few MGs currently:

In NZ:
MG Metro, my first car now modified nicely to 1440cc and about 100hp
MG Metro Turbo
MGF Abingdon - my wife's fun car and first MG, non-VVC with modified big valve head, 285H cams and verniers, VVC inlet and modified exhaust
MGF 1.8i - my rally car project, which is to say it's a pile of bits under our household possesions in the back of our garage at home.
MGBGT - my wife's project car, also a pile of bits beside above, on the hunt for a TVR Speed 6 engine to slot in.
MG ZT-T 260 - my wife's sensible car
MG Midget 1.9 VVC with supercharger etc etc circa 250hp - my fun and embarass-M5/911/WRX/etc etc drivers car

And in Germany we have just got ourselves a LHD MK1 ZS 180

Cheers
Andrew

Thanks all :)

The EU is paying me money to do some research for a couple of years at the Technical University of Munich. So far so good, enjoying the cheap beer and food, but not so much the expensive rent and ridiculous amount of paperwork. Miss my Midget though.

Welcome Andrew,

Next time I at at TUM I might pop by and say hello, one customer just left for Vienna, but the other one is still there so I might get out to fix her instrument at some point.........
