Hi, we're John and Sue, I guess we could be described as mature MG owners! The time came to replace Sue's trusty but aging Honda CRX vTec, owned past 10 years. After much searching....(she likes to be individual!) we found a low mileage (19k) TF 135 06 reg in blue. Have checked/replaced most service items: pads/filters/belts/tyres: not really needed (except tyres: not worn but showing signs of perishing) I like to do this so i have a benchmark and also to know all is well.
Good clean and polish including hood Renovo process. Plugs and leads replaced.
Next job: TT Mk 7 on order from Neil to arrive when we return from a weeks hol.
Job after that: a nice road trip to enjoy it all!!
Though its Sue's car and my tinker toy, she reckons my 'test drives' after a bit of tinkering are getting longer and longer.......

I owned Midgets and B's in the 70's and 80's until kids came along and couldn't really afford more than 1 car..
I love the idiosyncrasies of the TF...mostly!

Have been spannering cars and bikes since I was about 13: a long time now!! I am an electrical power engineer (Power Stations and stuff) by profession, Sue is in IT.

I reconise names from other forums: look forward to getting to know you/learning more TF stuff and maybe sharing some as well..

Thanks all for the warm welcomes. Just been into town for last minute hol stuff: had to do a legendary swerve into a layby to put the hood up as the heavens opened!
Will be exploring the forums next week when we're back: meanwhile we'll be F/TF spotting in Mallorca!
