YOU NOW KNOW THAT MG stands for Money Grabber and add your own suffix for the "F" or "B" or "C" or even "A" (cant put the words in cos the swear filter rips them out) I would have thought that the bits for the B GT were much cheaper than the F!

they may be cheaper Bryan, but you need more of them...at least I did!
About to sell the BGT as and Engine, Gearbox, Diff and axels, everything else on it is free of charge to do with it as they wish. just in case you know anyone who might be in need..... Is yours an RB, looks in very nice condition.

Used to come pass St Albans nearly every week when visiting GSK at Stevenage or on way to Welwyn GC. Not too far away, what might be described as a nice run distance.

GSK=Glaxo Smith Kline, Up the A1M J7. I figured everyone knew of GSK in the area, sorry, when you have been going somewhere for so many years you assume everyone else is as familiar as you are.

I'm very happy with my exhaust set up, Its a Toyosport cat back,the one on our car was a good deal and they are even better today, I also have a stainless Piper cat (Mike Satur stocks them) flexi and manifold are standard. There are a few clips here . Its a higher pitch than some but very crisp.

The Iphone doesnt do justice to the amount of sound, the giggles are a more reliable indicator.
After listening to mine some club members here put the cat back onto standard cats, this gives a nice tone but less volume. I'm quite happy with my car its a bit loud but not deafening when you nail it but quiet when you are cruising. This is probably as far as you can take it for a 1.6 without a custom manifold with tuned primaries, the long primary ones out there are designed for the 1.8. .
I'm surprised that the MGB didnt work out, I did put a serious wedge into it in the late 80s/early90s, but its been good value for the past 20 years.
