Thank you so much for a comprehensive guide. On my LE500 I had a temperamental oil temp gauge were it went from displaying a temperature to zero. Took a punt that it was the temperature gauge and bought one from Rimmers that had a silver face and used a black decal kit from brown and gammons to replace the silver face.
Luckily the new gauge had orange lighting leds.
Used your guide and hey presto I now have a working gauge.
Now working on my key fob operated electric boot release
