Yeah you’ll need the ECU to match the VVC 160, you’ll also need the engine bay wiring or at least the ability to do all the required wiring changes…….easier to swap out the loom.
You’ll also need the engine to be complete twitch all the sensors, injectors etc.
Somewhere on this forum there is a thread about what’s needed to change the engine from the MPI to the VVC.
