2004 TF 135 in Starlight Silver for sale - offers over £3.5k 11 months 1 week ago #202266

A really good example of a low mileage, original TF that has never been welded or sprayed and has been very well looked after all its life. Predominantly in factory condition with minor changes, all of which could be returned to 100% standard very easily, some of the original parts are included with the sale.
The vehicle always starts first time and drives faultlessly, it is sold with MOT until 6th September 2023, the last MOT was undertaken at 42,258 miles. The current mileage reads 42,937 and from all MOT certificates I have, it is believed correct, there’s no signs on the car to indicate otherwise. There has only been 1 advisory on the recent MOT’s relating to tyre cracking, all tyres have been replaced with correctly sized Toyo Proxes T1R’s. The car has only covered 6.5k miles in the last 3 ½ years of my ownership.
Work during my ownership
Sept 2022 – Oil Service
April 2022 – New alternator
Sept 2021 - Full service – oil/filers/plugs etc.
June 2021 – S/S coolant pipes installed, and antifreeze renewed – Carried out by Rough Luck Racing
June 2021 – Brake Service – Carried out by Rough Luck Racing
June 2021 - Full underbody treatment and protection – Carried out by Rough Luck Racing
March 2021 – Full set correctly sized Toyo Proxes T1R’s.
Jan 2021 – Cambelt service inc. water pump, tensioners etc. – Carried out by Rough Luck Racing
September 2020 – New CAT, S/S Daytona CAT back system & heat shield (Mike Satur) cills etc. injected with Dynax S50.
October 2020 – Oil Service
Sept 2019 – Full Service – oil/filters/plugs etc.
Below lists some other minor changes/upgrades:
• Sony DAB Head unit with Phone connectivity. (Original Kenwood Included with sale)
• Rockford Fosgate speakers – in original locations and sizes.
• Colour Matched Hardtop with working heated rear window. (Wall mount brackets included)
• Wind Deflector.
• Original tonneau.
• S/S bumper & vent grille kit (some of the original Hex grille kit included)
• Rear lamp covers – inside boot, upgrade available to post Rover TF’s
• Tailored outdoor cover from Specialised covers.
As stated above this is a really good example of an original TF, it is not concourse, there are age related marks and chips on the vehicle that have been “touched in” with a touch up pen, also a small dent to the bonnet which is believed a fairly straight forward repair for a specialist.
Any inspection welcome and would prefer for you to visit and look at the car to understand the condition and ask any questions, road test etc. subject to insurance, or I can drive you in the vehicle. Please call on 07929 369430 to discuss, if I cannot answer please leave a message or text, weekend or after 6pm viewings please. Located near Barnsley

I do wish you guys wouldn’t keep doing this to me, it’s like a big fat juicy worm being dangled in front of a course fish whose natural reaction is to strike & wander what’s happening as all hell brakes loose. For the poor fish it’s a hook through the lip, but it’ll be thrown back later, if it were to be me that was the one to strike I’d be sleeping in the spare bedroom for a month whilst my ears healed.
Even knowing this I might still have made a lame excuse to visit Barnsley “ it’s supposed to be very pretty darling, thatched cottages & a village green with band stand”.
And having had a good look through the description it would be well worth bringing back to the proper side of the Pennines.
Best of luck to you & to whoever is bright enough to recognise a gudn. Some folk spend that amount on a holiday that lasts for ten days & all you have to show is skid marks in your undercrackers from strange foods & sandpaper bog roll, a sombrero, a stuffed donkey & sick on your kex from to much sangria. Buy the car & have fun for years.

Yeah I don’t get spending shitloads on some crappy holiday, where you can get sunburnt sitting around a pool with a bunch of posers, or worse getting sunburnt and sand in your arse crack sitting on a crowed beach with assorted tosspots!
Not to mention buying a load of overpriced local handicraft tat ( made in China ) from the ripoff merchants at the market. Only to have some pickpocket relieve you of your wallet and passport.
You get to endure all of this whilst not being able to understand a word anyone says!

As well as the havoc the previously mentioned local culinary delights play upon your bowels and the resulting ring of fire,
Which will go nicely with the incurable case of pizzle rot you acquired from the horizontal folk dancing sessions with folk that you’d never met before. And of course the injuries sustained whilst falling off the rental motor scooter!

I don’t see the need to travel far to engage in drunken debauchery, when I can and indeed do engage in such excesses at or at least close to home!

Then the is the whole airport and airline experience…..hours of fun with vomit encrusted taxis, missing flights, flight delays, security, check in, queues, crowds, the joys of packing and dragging about luggage only for the bastard baggage handlers to damage it or for it to be lost forever more, paying a fortune for the dubious honour of travelling cattle class in an ancient kerosene canary owned by a budget carrier with an often dubious maintenance record ( done on the cheap in some third world toilet ) with a whole lot of people you detest, only to go through the whole process again when you get off the damned bewinged cattle truck, with the added bonus of now dealing with customs and immigration control.

And all you have to show off it is some hideous souvenir shit, some embarrassing visits to the doctor, no bloody money and a shitload of poorly focused, blurry, close ups of your thumb that you’ll try to bore everybody to tears with, and ultimately posting on bloody twitter or arsebook, where the only person interested will be your next prospective employer who will immediately zoom in on the pix of you engaging in in behaviour that will cause them to reconsider any thoughts they had of offering you the job!

Sounds great doesn’t it…….can’t wait to go!

Or as mentioned by Air portable that money could be spent on a fun car the can offer enjoyment for many years to come, and even if it by and large rusts away you can still sell what’s left to recover some of the money spent…… which is a bloody side more than you ever get on your holiday investment.
Look after it and with luck and time you may even pretty well break even and recover as much as you spent, there is even the extremely remote possibility of turning a profit……..no holiday could ever offer that.
