'Help the Aged' aka Passat Estate it's a 20v Sport model, for collecting your pension that little bit faster..
amongst other things, it has a solar sunroof - which when the car is locked / switched off, runs the interior fan when the cabin air is significantly hotter than ambient. very strange when the car starts doing things when the keys are removed.
oh and the glovebox is air conditioned, to keep your beer cool.

i have been shopping this afternoon; one cambelt, idler, tensioner, waterpump, thermostat, belts for aircon and alternator, spark plugs, air filter, cabin filter.. guess what i'm doing tomorrow?

well after 7 hours on the ramp it's still in bits.
previous chimps r us had stripped three of the four crank pulley bolts, so thanks and the hydraulic tensioner is kaput.. off to buy more bits on monday.
i've cleaned all parts as i went, so once reassembled it'll be factory fresh (hence the 7 hours lol)

asides that, there's not a mark underneath it. no corrosion, all paint/underseal original, genuine exhaust fitted, all suspension rubbers and cv joints perfecto. happy days.

Sounding 'Finewagon' when you've sorted out the 'Chimps R Us' efforts....... till you get a 'new toy'

It's a snotter. Shares the A4 platform? So do SEAT. And they're shat too.
200 HP? Are those Martian Horsepower?

Toy car? To us it's a real one in daily use.
