I have a question on an upgraded ECU unit, from my original MGF 1.8 VVC to a TF 160hp ECU unit. The wiring harness upgrade to match the TF ECU seems to have an extra smaller plug socket on the end and I am not sure what is suppose to go in there!? The larger plug-in makes sense.
Another question comes with the new crank sensor. The old sensor has a 2mm protruding metal end tip where the new sensor is smooth and rounded with the metal sensor embedded. I am wondering if the new sensor shape is going to work correctly in the old MGF?
