Canopy adjustment.
Hi all,
Has anyone removed or adjusted the MGTF canopy position to the body framework? My canopy rattles when driving along because the left and right threaded double ball joint requires tightening on the near side. Can these ball joints be prized apart for removal without damage? Hopefully I can shorten the left side in order to pull the lower portion of the canopy closer to the body and stop the metal mechanism rattle. There is light under the canopy fabric to bodywork.
I did see some one removed and replaced the canopy but can't find the information anymore.
In hope,
Gerry.

They can be prised apart, but you need to remove a locking spring first. It goes through below each ball joint and clips around the shaft. :yesnod:
These should have been proper turnbuckles (ie left and right thread) so that you could just rotate the centre section to adjust, but if I remember correctly they aren't, so you do need to unhook one end to adjust them.
