I am at the weekend picking up Supercharged F's, supercharged F , I already have a Panther, and really want the supercharged F to have the same body kit.

Now, I know I'm on a hiding to nothing, but I am after the kit, I do know someone who has it, but they are not willing to part with it, so I need your guys help to source one, this would in turn, turn the super charged F into, basically a cheetah.

So parts I need are
  • Front bumper (I can get that from B&G) as they say on their site still in stock.
  • Both Side Skirts
  • Front and Rear arch extensions

Not bothered about the rear bumper, as one its easy to customize a standard one, and secondly not sure I like it. Wheels I can source from Germany, and their are a few Azev on the bay, I'm watching.

So if you have or know someone who has this rare piece of kit, please get in touch, money is waiting for it.

PS, and no, I'm not swapping it off the Panther

Can you let me know either way, as it will keep me awake at night, if you can only spare the front bumper (Cheetah/Panther one) and nothing else, that would be brilliant as well. Like everything B&G, just because its on their site doesn't mean its in stock or ever will be, grrr, as I found out when I phoned up

i have had a word with gine,we have around 50 cars stacked on racks in surrey on my brothers farm in long term storage.nothing is for sale im afraid.we want to keep the shells and the parts for our long term plans.we are moving one stage further to achiving those plans.the cars in storage have all got either major or minor body damage, all of them are coating in wax and dust, they are stacked 4 high in a large barn on my brothers farm.we at one time where buying them at £50 each.the cheetah we have are one black one.front end is damaged, the silver one we took the engine out of and again the side is damaged,we purchased it after it was left behind a work shop for 4 years with a torn roof,so its in a poor state im afraid.
we hope to be buying out a local garage together with its work force.from there we will be doing all mg car repairs, the subframes will be built at the home work shop.we have now almost got a hydralic lift made that can fit and remove the frames easy.and we have a rig made that can rotate the car as well, this means we will be able to rebuild a car in half the time.
we need to keep the body shells for future cars being built. We are also planning in the next 24 months to work with and along side a company that restores bmw m cars.so in around 24 months time we will operate a large 20 bay car work shop, body shop and have our own powder coaters in house, etc.
the plan is to link skills to provide a good in house service to keep both mgf/tf and classic bmws on the road.I have know the bmw guy for around 20 years and he and i used to restore m cars on weekends, but he went full time and simply never had enough work to employ,he has out grown his place and im starting to do the same,so it makes sense to combine,we can both bring new things to the table and between us will be able to offer more .
gina wants to sell all the parts now and get the cash.i want to hold on to them so we can produce cars later on,when no one else has the parts or body shells.
30 years ago the scrap yard had around 10 e types accident damaged but not bad, they wieghed them in.

Well seeing as you have 2 cheaters, one with a damaged front end, how about getting the number off the side impact one moulded? I'm sure it would be a nice little earner and you can sub it out.

Would love to see a picture of the inside of the barn, would be like an mg enthusiasts dream

not worth it, it was looked into but the previous owner of Panther, basically doing at cost, for the whole kit, would mean that the whole kit would cost around 2200 (and before you say it will not cost that much, I can tell you just buying the skirts and arches has set me back quite a bit of money, not something most people would spend on bits of stick on plastic), and then need painting, plus it would be like putting and XR3I badge on a 1.3 escort, body kits quite simply do not sell well in the MG world, most people do not like them, if it was the opposite Mike Satur would be still selling his, even his well regarded quad lights are no longer made, due to no demand.

In short, they would not sell like hot cakes, if you was doing in the saxo, VW, ford, world different kettle off fish, in the MG world its generally frowned on.

Hot cakes at hot cakes costs would be real improvements if they were:

- coolant level sensor
- fuel gauge dash light
- brake pads sensor
!!!!!!!!!!
Safety & peace of mind never meant plastic skirts nor 'underwear bits" or engine mods with these 180grs CO per KM Rover K engine!!!!
Too much emissions!!!!!

See Lotus Elises with Toyota engine since 2002.......
