Inspired by seeing yours this morning, I've done ours today.

Turned out to be quite easy and didn't take as long as I thought it would.

Looks great - and of course against the best colour!
I found that the easiest way to get the paint off is in fact a 'brillo' pad! Only found this while doing the 'spare' one...... I may swap it over as I think the finish may turn out even better!
Still haven't finished the gear stick ring though as I think this is anodised not painted so it's a bugger to get the silver off!
