As I intend to replace every single nut and bolt on both my F subframes I've been looking for a break down..

Anyone know of one?

If not is there any interest in me posting my breakdowns?

Breakdown? Absolutely! As long as you promise not to cry

Spheres 4 of M8x25mm per sphere

The box sections on the front subframes require 3 of M10x25mm each

Steering rack requires 2 of M8x50mm

Front wish bones require 2 of M12x100m per arm

Subframe mounts too car 10 of M8x40mm per subframe

The rear trailing arms (thin ones) require M10x60mm per arm

Rear tie bars require M12x100mm each

Main rear arm requires M12x100 each

Engine arms require 3 of M10x40mm plus M10x50mm one off plus M10x100mm 4 off..

Top alternator bolt is M10x120mm plus nyloc nut

Engine mount (belt end) requires. 3 of M10x100mm and one M10x85mm

You are going to put photos and break downs of every nut and bolt you remove

It's very handy to know, because instead of paying £8 per bolt, you can walk into a nut and bolt place and pay £3 for 5 of the same spec.

Or go to a supplier who does them all at trade

Yep. That's what I do but you need the sizes.

Would it not be better as a how to, rather than a thread

Might be worth it once built up.

and what bolts make up the rear one.

I have been using Westfield fastners for stainless steel bolts and nuts, mind you i have used a lot of the ones that were "SCRAPPED" after the installation of the Tetra- pak machines. I used button head hexagon socket ones for the underbelly plate. No one wanted the spares (ss bolts and nuts) and my contractor was instructed to put them in a skip (by the barrow load what a waste)

Yes good point Jan it could do with being made a sticky so if someone wanted a particular bolt they could look down the list and find it
There are 'under bonnet' bolt kits on e bay. But there could be a market for 'subframe bolt kits' too?

I'm not going stainless as they can fracture on the bits that can be higly stressed so going 12.9 zinc plated and will copper grease all of them on the thread to make removal in the future easier
