Better than Ye Olde Paul McCartney though.

Eric Idle was the star of the show for me. :yesnod:

Oh and seeing a clutch of MG's flying the flag. :broon:

Well done guys.

+1 on the MG's!

Eric Idle brilliant! EVERYONE singing along, including us!
Time for Macca to take it easy!
Daltrey and Townsend a great ending.
Ed Sheeran singing Pink Floyd.....AAAAAARGH!
Was seriously wondering if they would take Cliff Richard out of his cryo-pack and have him do Summer Holiday. Thank god they didn't....
Might have known that Cameron's lapdog Barlow would be in there.

And as I said before....Brian May....Oh dear.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

What a great Olympics, loved the opening and all the, effort, and emotion put in by all the athletes.

Brought a tear to the eye a few times.

Closing ceremony didnt do it for me I'm afraid, Spice girls livened it up, but I missed the plot with a lot of the music/songs.

Cant please everyone, I suppose.

Thought the light show and fireworks were great.

I understand from a good source it was a TA, not a TC (although it's very hard to tell from that distance), and in total there were 3 MGAs and at least two MGB roadsters and two BGTs.

96 MGF 1.8i: Project Rally Car
98 MGF Abingdon" 285H cams, modded head etc
87 MG Metro: 1440cc fast road car
88 MG Metro Turbo
70 MG Midget: 1.9L VVC + supercharger + RWD = YEEHAA!
72 MGBGT: Project Speed 6 MGB
05 MG ZT-T 260: wife's sensible car
01 MG ZS 180: LHD, for driving around Germany in
