Yes well done MG mad, correct on all counts. The new MG is likely to remain a limited edition with that price tag too.

Right, this should hopefully be an easy one:

Name the only engine developed and used for solely an MG, post WW2 (that is, not used in any other marque).

Would that be the B series Twin Cam?

2013 is a diamond anniversary year for which MG?

Why was this one not considered a diamond at it's launch in an ironic twist of engine choice?

How many Mk variations did it have following its launch until the end of production?

How many times has this particular model name been used?

Z-series Magnette, was viewed unkindly by the MG purists at the time of launch due to using the Austin B series engine, rather than the XPAG Morris/MG engine that was used in it's stablemate Wolseley. The ZA and ZB Magnettes were the only two "MKs" of Z Magnettes, but were superseded by the Farina styled MKIII and MKIV Magnettes.

MGs to use the name Magnette were:
K types
N types
ZA, ZB
MKIII and MKIV (Farina)
and MG6

as far as I'm aware there weren't any others.
