There's another under the bonnet that says 251 or something like that! Dunno if that means something in MG circles :)?

I have just read the version or this thread on another well known MGF/TF forum and all I can say is "Thank goodness for The T Bar"

+1

The T-Bar the home of the real MGF/TF enthusiasts, the forum which recognises the value and historical significance of the 251 VIN No. and I'm sure I speak for all members when I say we appreciate all the efforts of John Newey for organising this once in a life time prize draw and for the £1000 to such a worthy cause.

Good luck to everyone entering and I look forward to seeing the smile on the winner's face in the photo's, hopefully, one of the T-Bar members :yesnod:

Thought it was a great way of finding an MG enthusiastic home for what is a very special car. If an of you knows someone who'd like to enter, then pass on the details. I'm already upto 50 entries and from as far a field as Northern Ireland and Australia!

I've linked this post, in case you hadn't noticed, to the popular plastidip video on youtube. I believe that's where it got mentioned on the NL forum. Hopefully it's helping in some small measure. :broon:

Well, I'm off to Stoneleigh tomorrow to The MG Spares Show, I'm going to take several hundred leaflet/entry forms, so if anyone see a mad looking bloke (handsome with it though :)!) handing out wadges of paper, then come and say hello. I'll probably be in my MG X-Power fleece and black MG X-Power Hotwheels jeans (can't beat a bit of X-Power :)!)
