Lighting my console
Just here:

Well, these arrived yesterday:

So, armed with a 6mm drill bit I set to work and it now looks like this ... with lights off

And this ... with lights on

I'd been planning for ages to put something in place of the dimples as they looked a bit bare to me. The chrome holders look great and I'll try to get a better photograph in daylight.
As for the lights. It was getting dark and I couldn't be bothered to fiddle around anymore so as you can see, they are temporarily fed from the footwell to see what they look like.
They are way too bright to drive with, so I can either change for a less intense light or I could pull them out of the holders and let them float behind to give a glow through the open holder holes. Or I might even ditch the light idea as the holders look great on their own. The lights might then be used as ambient lighting behind the seats.

I'd also be interested to know how you did that job?
Does it distract you at all?
Will there be any 'how to' pics once you've finished tweaking this mod Rog?

if you use 3mm leds and only power at 13v then you can use a 1k 1/8th watt resistor so the space taken up will be verry small
also got cable you culg use 24awg ptfe sleved and that will also help with space
if any one needs any bits i can get them at trade price
sorry for the late eply but itsbeen mad at work

Granted in order for them to be on you'd have to have side lights on.
