Love the Adam-MGTF bit, tbh, I think that does make them even better. Not tacky at all...
thanks Teri
can't wait to get the whole interior done, been salving away in the cold since 6 this morning, more pics to follow
oh and glad you like the Adam-MGTF
Yves Adele Harlow;4106 wrote: Looking fantastic mate! Love the idea of custom dials! Really awesome feature! :respect:
(Although you do know that one of the dials should have said "Adam-MGTF" and the other one "Bruce")
I considered putting bucephalus instead of Adam-MGTF but "Bucephalus" is going somewhere else
Thanks Gos

rightoh... since Sunday night i've worked absolutely flat out on the car and have managed to chuck together something drivable
this is how my garage and car looked on sunday...
The dash in bits, seats plunked in as there was nowhere else to put them, no carpet, electric spaghetti for a wiring loom, mayhem
Fuel tank out, no engine cover, no soundproofing or carpeting, and no harness brackets!.... now the fun begins!
my mate lee welds in my harness brackets (which he made himself, sadly the ones from GW were not practical... note lee doing the hard work while i prat about with the fire extinguisher in the garage

after the harness brackets were welded in the monster rebuild began, Monday i finished work and started on the car, the carpets we refit, the fuel tank went back in, as did the ECU, a new battery and some soundproofing, engine cover was plopped back on but i ran into my first boo boo as i realized the T-Bar no longer fit... so Im going to make my own T-Bar... simples lol
the plexiglass engine cover will have to wait until February sadly as i have no plexiglass (though Rover-25X does lol) getting some off him in feb
anyway the harnesses all went in nicely although the sealant on the bottom i used to cover where the bolts go through the floor STILL wont come off my hands! lol
the seats were another matter, the custom runners just didn't want to line up but i got there in the end
after that i simple clipped in my painted dash and popped in my custom heater front and oil temp/12h clocks and my kick plates

and here's the finished project:
Come feel the noise...
your not following an ordinary TF...
Step into my Parlor
Dash with shortened gear stick... sadly a few buttons are missing as im still trying to source the plugs for the A/C and Air circ switches
Custom clocks in red dash
and Matching kick plates

The finished interior
Never forgetting the famous seats from GW!!!
the car now feels so much nicer to sit and and i've learnt alot more about patience if nothing else, the project was a long slog and as you can see from the pic's isnt finished yet!
but some special thanks are owed... First to Martind1 (a ZR driver from MG-R.org, he's an amazing web designer and DJ if anyone needs some webwork or events covering! - obvious plug lol but true!) He's shown amazing patience in teaching me how to solder, making sure i ordered the right LEDs/Bulbs and he also did all the design work on Photoshop for my custom dials and clocks, it took us hours and he had the patience of a saint while we sat in his room and i drank cups of tea and constantly changed my mind on what i wanted!
second to Kara, again for saintly patience, she had the seats from GW and i desperately wanted them, unfortunalty i got laid off just before she bought GW, however she was kind enough to hold onto them while i scraped together the cash! few people would be so understanding or allow so much leeway with money to a friend she'd never met!
Thirdly to philmgf, god knows he answered enough of my electrical type questions, i've learnt so much thanks mate!
and lastly thanks to Lee for making my brackets for my harnesses and welding them in for me!
hope you like the work guys

Sorry my fault entirely - installing an auto image resizer is on my to do list. Will try & get on it now. Until then do you have a photobucket account or do you want me to resize them in mine?

i tried to use photo-bucket once... due to my inept computer-type-skills i was in counseling for months (any help would be great thanks hun!)

 No worries will get on it now. We do have an auto-resize function already but oddly enough if the image is way too big it can't resize it. :skeptical: Hence I must get round to installing a better image resizer.
Anyway rant aside let me just download your piccys.
