Ok, how and where should I fit a warning light to change up, say starting at 7000rpm.
Having broken a valve changing down a couple of weeks ago, I think I hit over 8000rpm ow, och. No damage just a broken and bent valve that did not even mark the top of the piston. Felt like a miss from a faulty plug, very lucky according to every one.

Do you mean something like a shift light? I know they come with auto gauge tachometer's but not sure if you can buy them on their own?

If you can then I would totally find a way to mount it to instrument cluster!

I have a Raptor fitted. $200 from the USsolders onto the tach light wire at the passenger compartments footwell. Very easy, all programmable and works a dream.

Never needed it, but I can see the advantage for track.

It wouldn't help on the downchange though.
