Oooh that's a good point I learnt GLA today but missed it off my list. Apparently we do connections from GLA to LHR... I hope... or my notes are way off!

Oh phew honestly you scared the life out of me! So Air Traffic Control use different codes... hmm... wonder why that is... seems like it would make sense to have the same codes throughout. So how do you know ICAO designators?

I'm in the middle of learning flight numbers now... my head is sooo hurting! Although on the plus side I saw my first VAA Pilot today... :drool5: :faint: :cloud9: ... that is all.

Sadly, I need to know the designators as I'm in the biz. I'm whats called an Air Traffic Services Assistant and help teach the little chap and chappette student controllers how to do their radar bit and avoid knocking those pretty little blips together!

You guys dont fly from MEL but from SYD, Arriving 23rd March leaving 9th April. Will have 5 nights in Spain from 25th, havn't booked yet, looking for cheap fares from LGW.
