TF window inoperable

TF160 2004. Passenger window not working. Checked fuse, F5, in passenger compartment, and switch (by swapping with driver side). Removed door card and connected 12v supply direct to red wires going to motor. Worked perfectly up and down. Reconnected to switch, nothing. What am I missing? Any suggestions please.

Hi Bob, its worth reading this thread where i had the same problem 2 years ago. The search feature is quite useful as these cars have been around for quite a while.
Fuse F5 is not the only relevant fuse. I was advised to also check Fuse 9 which was indeed blown. The usual cause of that fuse going is a fault with the engine bay fan hence the fuse only blows when the rear fan is enabled by a high level of engine bay heat. . Tbar thread on passenger window fail
