Coolest Transport Ever

Excluding cars what do you think is the coolest form of transport ever?

It's a no brainer for me.

Of the available options I'd pick Concorde but if we're talking coolest transport ever then how can you not include the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs Or was the Millenium Falcon only cool because of its pilot?

Millennium Falcon may be cool but Hans Solo should have known that a Parsec is a unit of distance, not time.

Being realistic and of the 2 wheeled variety it has to be a Ducati, Italian design, good handling and its the type of bike non-bike people will stop and look at!


This is mine, only the 748 model but has the same chassis and looks as the bigger bikes of that age. My first bike, and still going strong. Bought it outright with the bonus money from an Afghan tour, better than just pissing the money up the wall. Also reminds me how lucky I am every time I see it.

If I was ever going to get a bike ( which would result in divorce and probably serious damage to my undercarriage so it's unlikely) then that's what I'd want although I might be swayed by a red one. To me it's probably the most beautiful bike design ever and far nicer than newer ones.

It also reminds me of going to see Foggy in the Superbikes at Brands Hatch and him disappearing into the distance. Which is exactly what all my mates on bikes did after the race while I struggled out in a Fiesta hire car.
