The opening theme tune was an instrumental version of "Avenues And Alleyways".

The closing theme tune was "Avenues And Alleyways", sung by Tony Christie.

Slightly different;

1.) Tell me the name of the TV series in which Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner starred together in one episode, a full two years before appearing together on Star Trek?

The shows two main characters were Napoleon (the actor who played him was born in New York) and Illya (the actor who played him was born in Glasgow).

2.) Name them both please


The theme tune changed slightly over the four years of the programme and there were in fact 8 composers of the various themes.
