How to replace tachometer 6 years 11 months ago #177296

Recently, I contacted Mark at Kmaps (former Z and F Tuning), ECU remapping specialist.
He told me that his work can achieve 7200 rpm.
However, my genuine tacho is hard to make certain.
Therefore, I decided to replace it by 160's tacho.

After removing Instrument cowl, remove 4 screws.

Remove 2 screws securing brackets

Remove 3 screws securing tachometer to the case

Fit the 160's tachometer

At idling speed

I hope I can see the needle hit the rev limit.
