:woohoo: here is my first post for a wanted item................I need nice clean engine splash guard for my mgtf..........the splash guard i need is the one on the gearbox side :woohoo: anyone got one............................

Hi,
I don't think one was ever fitted to the nearside. Nothing on the parts pages on the Rimmers site, and I think the mounting holes are from the original Metro fitment .

The gearbox side splashguard was the resonator box for the air inlet. When I changed my filter I trimmed the resonator box to still guard splashes.
Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

Like the other side guard I made one up from a piece of waste plastic sheet. The waxy flexible stuff is best. it's pretty easy to do - any bit of flat plastic of the right dimension can be used. A lot cheaper than buying an original too.
