hi guys n girls anyone got a wiper motor for a mk 1 vvc my motor is goosed sounds like a scalded cat when in operation doooin my head in must be mk1 as i cant be bothered soldering plugs on and all that jaz thanks!

If it's still working, it would be worth stripping, cleaning and re-greasing. Grease up the pivots on the mechs. too. :yesnod:

There are bearing replacement kits which is most likely your problem. It can be time consuming but still better than the £125,00 i paid for a new one recently.

And while you have the motor out, drill a small hole in the bottom to let the water out which gathers over time

just read the ad for the uprated kit it also says drill a hole and there is a drill in the kit
