I have broken the clip off my O/S indicator lens and now it obviously wont seat itself correctly so I need to replace it, so if anyone has clear lens for a MK2 F can you let me know.

This is quite a common problem you will find using velcro works great stick some to top of indicator and a piece to the top of the recess and indicator stays in place

it can be fixed for less than 20p

i repaired one of mine with a vertical blind fixing clip.

I went the velcro route, but only because I had some velcro around. It's lasted 3 years so far! . The above repair is an elegant solution, though!:broon:

The clip broke on one of the NEW ones i bought from MGOC just as i pushed it in :rant: :rant: was replaced without question (cheap french plastic!!)

i did this to mine the other day. both of them :(

worked a treat :woohoo:

when your only tool is a hammer, all of your problems suddenly become nails.......

Thanks for the link, didn't think of looking on .org, it still amazes me what you can find on these forums.

Fixed it the morning, works a treat.
