i didnt need anything just screwed em into the t-bar that had the speakers in already.

are you talking using normal speakers onto the steel bar or are you talking using the proper speaker t-bar like im selling and just replacing the old speakers for new?

not using the speaker pod,trying to get the brackets seems they maybe hard to get hold of

I've got a set of cheapo's that are OK. I think i'm going Bongos route though for 6x9's when he gets his finger out and shows me his pods :)

Invalid or non-existent item ID.best wait for the 6x9 thing from Bongo then :) The problem with speaker pods is the depth of em. You can get some generic ones though and stick em in like below:
